Traffic Advisory - January 20, 2023
HAMPTON – Motorists are advised that HRSD crews will be installing sanitary sewer pipelines on Settlers Landing Road between the Hampton River and William R. Harvey Way as part of the Phoebus Area Sanitary Sewer Extension Project. During this work, one outside westbound lane of Settlers Landing Road will be closed as indicated on the map below. This work is scheduled to begin as early as January 23rd and is expected to remain in place through March.

NEWPORT NEWS -- HRSD will hold its annual meeting to review the status of the Integrated Plan/Regional Wet Weather Management Plan (RWWMP) at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 24, 2023. The meeting will provide information about the extensive cooperation between HRSD and the localities it serves, as well as the steps residents in the region can take to help protect public waterways.

HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, will begin work to install a sanitary sewer force main in Settlers Landing Road east of the Hampton River and West of William R Harvey Way. This work should take place primarily between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday – Friday.
Traffic Advisory - January 13, 2023
(VIRGINIA BEACH) – HRSD crews have closed the left westbound lane of Shore Drive at Indian Hill Road to make repairs to a 20-inch wastewater pipeline that failed late Thursday afternoon. Motorists may also experience delays along Indian Hill Road as crews work to clean up and restore the area from wastewater that was spilled due to the pipe failure.
