--Utility Work to Occur--

HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, is working to install a new sanitary sewer pump station and rehabilitate existing sanitary sewer and manholes in the Phoebus area. The areas around the completed manholes will be restored. The restoration will include milling and paving. The work should take place primarily between the hours of 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday – Friday and could include weekend work.

HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, will perform investigatory excavation on the sewer pipe valve located on the south side of Dare Road between Allens Mill Road and Albacore Drive. This work should take place Monday-Friday from 7 a.m. – 5 p.m.

--Paving to Occur on Great Bridge Boulevard and at the intersection with Bainbridge Boulevard--

HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, will continue work to complete the sanitary sewer pipeline project by performing asphalt restoration work along Great Bridge Boulevard and at the intersection of Great Bridge Boulevard and Bainbridge Boulevard. This work should take place primarily between the hours of 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday – Friday.

Project Overview

HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, is undertaking a project in your neighborhood to construct a new pressure reducing pumping station (PRS) and offline storage facility. This project will improve sewer system performance and ensure continued, reliable sewer service in the future. PORTSMOUTH – Motorists and residents are advised that HRSD is performing emergency sewer line repairs on Clifford Street east of the intersection with Elmhurst Lane. Clifford Street is temporarily closed between Elmhurst Lane and City Park Avenue, and Elmhurst Lane is temporarily closed between Green Meadow Drive north loop and Green Meadow Drive south loop for pump and haul operations in support of the repair. Detours are in place as indicated on the map below.
