Virginia Beach – Motorists are advised that HRSD crews are currently installing a new sewer pipeline on N. Lynnhaven Road near Virginia Beach Boulevard.  To safely complete this work, motorists will follow a signed detour onto Kings Grant Road to access Virginia Beach Boulevard. This work is scheduled to begin September 8, 2021 and will remain in place for approximately three weeks.

HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, in coordination with the City of Virginia Beach, is planning a project in your neighborhood to install an automated valve located within an underground vault on an existing HRSD sewer pipe. HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, is continuing installation of a sanitary sewer pipeline along 16th Street between Roanoke Avenue and Ridley Circle.  This work should take place primarily between the hours of 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday – Friday.

--Temporary Bypass Removal and Restoration Work Continues--

Newport News – Motorists are advised that HRSD is performing sanitary sewer maintenance work on Lucas Creek Road between Sandpiper Street and St. Croix Drive. During the maintenance work, motorists can follow a signed detour using St. Croix Drive to Spinnaker Road to Sandpiper Street as indicated on the map below. The detour is scheduled to being September 1st and is expected to remain in place for several days.

A Message To Our Neighbors

Over the next twelve weeks through early November, Precision Measurements, Inc., has been authorized to perform work on behalf of HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, and the City of Norfolk as part of the Larchmont Area Sanitary Sewer Improvements project, a strategic program to replace, upgrade and relocate sanitary sewer pump stations and their connecting pipelines in the Larchmont-Edgewater community.

This work can be weather and situation dependent and should not affect your water or sewer services.
