--Utility Work to Continue--

HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, will continue work to replace a sanitary sewer pipeline located along Criston Drive near River Bend Court. This work should take place primarily during daytime hours. 

VIRGINIA BEACH – Motorists are advised that HRSD crews will be performing sanitary sewer pipeline improvements on Arctic Avenue that require a road closure between 28th and 30th streets. During this work, through traffic will follow a signed detour using 28th Street, Pacific Avenue, and 30th Street as indicated on the map below. Local traffic will continue to have access to homes/businesses. The detour is scheduled to begin as early as April 15 and is expected to remain in place through the end of April.

HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, in coordination with the City of Virginia Beach, is planning a project in your neighborhood to rehabilitate existing HRSD sanitary sewer pipelines that are nearing the end of their useful life. HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, is working to install a new sanitary sewer pump station and rehabilitate existing sanitary sewer and manholes in the Phoebus area. This work should take place primarily between the hours of 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday – Friday, but could include weekend work.

HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, will continue work to replace a sanitary sewer pipeline located along Brick Kiln Boulevard near Bellows Way. This work should take place primarily during daytime hours.

--Utility Work to Continue--

HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, will begin work to connect/tie-in the newly installed sewer pipe to the existing sewer pipe at the intersection of River Creek Road and Campostella Boulevard. The preparation for this will take place primarily between the hours of 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday – Friday. The actual connection/tie-in to the existing sewer pipe will need to be completed during weekday nighttime hours while sewer flows are lower.
